How FAME works

Finding people

The launchpad looks people up on Wikidata, the database behind Wikipedia. It reads their birthday, sign, job and country, and counts how many language Wikipedias have a page on them. That count is shown as their fame.

Adults only

Only people with a known birth date who are 18 or older can be launched. Anyone younger, or anyone without a birth date on record, never shows up in search.

Photos

Coin photos come from Wikimedia Commons, where photographers publish under free licenses. The photographer and license are credited on the coin. You can use your own photo instead if you have the right to use it. No generated or edited faces.

Fan coins

Every coin on FAME is a fan coin. It is not official, and the person it is named after has nothing to do with it. That is stated on the card, on the coin page and in the pump.fun description.

One coin per person

The first launch for a person is the only one FAME lists. After that their name opens the live coin. You choose a first buy, and whether creator fees go to you or to your holders.

Fame levels

Market cap is fame: Unknown, Rising at $5K, Famous at $25K, A-list at $100K, Icon at $500K and Legend at $2M. Coins are risky and nothing here is financial advice.

Takedowns

If you are someone listed on FAME, or you represent them, and you want their coin taken off this site, get in touch. We remove the coin and block the name from being launched again.
